What matters most in this life?
Material things, money, social media likes and followings, fancy cars, expensive clothing...you can’t take those with you when your time is up. I was reminded that what I can take is people.
I work hard at being a wife...praying that my husband sees Jesus through me, raising my children to follow the Lord and I use CLB to spread His love. I have a passion for helping women and I know that’s my calling. I can’t take the things with me that our hard work has provided… but what I can do is tell 21,000+ women about my God, who loves them as they are. I can show others how He took a broken, lost woman like myself and turned her life into something beautiful. I can storm the gates of Heaven locked arm and arm with others… and THAT is what matters.
I told my “small” group (it’s a rather large group PTL) last Monday that I feel God is really working on women right now. Women are running to the Lord, they are hungry, they are leading their families to a relationship with Jesus, they are gathering in Bible studies or in a conference full of hundreds like them...laying their worn down, broken, bitter hearts at His feet and feeling His grace and love being poured over Him! He is calling His daughters to rise up! He is stirring hearts and fanning that fire that is in each of you!
What matters the most? That my eyes are set on the finish line, Heaven- not worldly possessions… alongside my husband, my family, my brothers and sisters in Christ.
